Our salad mats and herb mats and our window boxes, use the same methods farmers use to grow salads, miniaturised for your home.
Our salad mats have the seeds impregnated in rows in a bio-degradable mat. This mat stops seeds blowing away, being eaten and drying out. Once they put down roots the seedlings grow separating the film layer on top of the mat building its own polytunnel which keeps the salad nice and moist and promotes growth.
